Deepak Seth

Group Chairman - Pearl Global Industries PDS Multinational Ltd.

Mr. Seth started the “House of Pearl” in 1987 with just one manufacturing unit in India. Today, his vision and enterprise have transformed the company into a global conglomerate with an annual business volume of more than 5600 million. This efficient Ready-To-Wear supply chain that's involved in manufacturing, distribution, branding, and retailing caters to the best retailers in the world.

He's a visionary in the field of readymade garments who's identified the potential of the Far East region as a major supplier to the international garment industry. Keeping this in mind, he set up the House of Pearl as a global outfit.

An Economics graduate from St. Stephens College, Delhi University, Deepak holds an MBA from Jamanalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Bombay. He is an active member of the Apparel Export Promotion Council of India and held the post of “Vice Chairman” of the Eastern Region of AEPC for two years. An executive member of the Apparel Exporters and Manufacturers Association (AEMA), he was awarded the “Udyog Ratna” Award by the Haryana Government in 2006 for his entrepreneurial skills.

Deepak’s vision prepared the group to face the post-quota regime from 2005, setting up manufacturing units across the Far East to transform the House of Pearl into a one-stop shop for its valued customers.

Deepak is a pioneer in the field of social responsibility and firmly believes in giving back to society. He runs various charitable organisations such as the Meena Seth Clinic, which provides free medical aid to the needy, and Arpan, which gives free tuition to underprivileged children between the age group of seven to twelve years in English, Mathematics, and Science.
