Born on 24th May 1984 in Delhi, Charu completed her schooling and joined Govt. College of Art, Chandigarh, Punjab, in 2002 to pursue Graduation, followed by Post Graduation (Print Making) in 2008. She worked extensively in the field of Printmaking and held many exhibitions/workshops on national and international platforms in printmaking. In 2008, after clearing the National Eligibility Test, she joined College of Art, Chandigarh, starting her journey as a teacher. Beginning with Chandigarh Art College as Associate Professor, she went on to teach at many renowned institutions such as College of Art (Delhi), Amity Faculty of Fine Art (Delhi). She is currently working with the Foundation Design Dept. at Pearl Academy, New Delhi. Apart from teaching, during her leisure time, she likes to create unique artwork, besides watching movies, traveling to the hills and listening to music.
