New Delhi, 05th November 2016: Pearl Academy, India’s leading private institution in design, fashion and creative businesses has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Media Design School, New Zealand’s most awarded tertiary institution for digital design qualifications, to share expertise in their respective design domains. The Auckland based institution was ranked among the top three schools in the world providing VFX/Animation and Game Art qualifications by the Autodesk sponsored CG Student Awards 2015. The MoU was signed by Nandita Abraham, CEO, Pearl Academy and Darryn Melrose, CEO Media Design School in the presence of Mr John Key, Prime Minister, New Zealand.
With the objective of producing a series of innovative ideas within the field of creative technologies, the collaboration will see each institution sharing best practices. The collaboration will offer opportunities for activities and programs, such as faculty & students exchange and staff development. Media Design School is highly regarded for the calibre of its graduates and renowned for its strong industry links and student outcomes. The collaboration will also provide opportunities for development of new programmes and curriculum to provide more insight and innovative ideas in the field of Creative Technology and will cover various subjects for industry research and collaboration opportunities in the fields of virtual & augmented reality, films, 3D animation, gaming etc. Additionally, students from Pearl Academy will have the opportunity to be trained at an institution which has strong links with some of the top Hollywood studios, Drom Fragrances International Studio- New York, Parasol Island- Düsseldorf, Germany and many more.

This collaboration therefore, will throw open an array of opportunities for students looking at enhancing their skills in these fields.
