TO STUDY, DESIGN & IMPLEMENT RANGE PLAN FOR ADIDAS ACCESSORIES FOR SS16.
Adidas is a world famous designer and manufacturer of sports shoes, clothing and accessories. It also produces bags, watches, eyewear, shirts and goods related to sports.Adidas is the second largest sportswear manufacturer in the world. The company came to India in 1989 but real brand recognition came after 2001. At present, it holds more than 25 percent share in sportswear market in India.
The company confesses that their focus on the accessories department has been inadequate given the last decade got focused on mainstream products and fighting off competition. The company aims to have a streamlined and more concentrated range plan for the accessories it will offer in the India market.
My paper aims to suggest a suitable range plan to the company related to the accessories they sell in India. The current procurement seems out of sync with the consumer’s choice in India.
My suggestions are based on competition mapping and previous years sales data, should enable Adidas Group in India to deliver stronger sales in the country. The company will streamline procurement of accessories. It should result in better profitability and impressive display of products.
