31st October, 2015, Jodhpur: The Kukas based campus of Pearl Academy organized ‘Creative Pearl’ – An Inter-school competition in the premises of DPS (Jodhpur) to stir-up creative juices in students helping them explore the best of their creative talents. Around 150 school students unleashed their creativity through amazing pieces of pop-up art T-shirts, photographs on Khidki and Darwaza of Jodhpur, jewelry articles, Collages with Swach Bharat theme and products from waste material.

The festivity began in the morning and continued till afternoon today where enthusiastic school students participated in 5 different competitions as mentioned below:

  • Photography – Khidkee Aur Darwaza: Capture the art of Jodhpur. Click the pictures of artistic khidkee and darwaza in a creative way and install it on the wall differently.
  • Pop Art – T-Shirt Redesign: Paint the rich culture of Rajasthan on a T-shirt in pop art style
  • Neo Jewels – Jewellery Design: Express the beauty of nature in the form of jewellery. Design jewellery with natural materials like pebbles, feathers, wood, leaves, sea shells, etc.
  • Lifestyle Product Design-Best out of waste: To design a product from waste material
  • Collage making competition: To depict the theme ‘Swach Bharat’ in their own creative style and unique way.

Dr. Veena Dutta, Director, Pearl Academy-Jaipur, said, “The idea behind organizing Creative Pearl is an un-inhibited and un-restricted flow of ideas and creativity. Students from schools other than DPS such as lucky Bal Niketan School, Sohan Lal Manihar Girls School, etc. participated in various competitions. Winners from each contest were acknowledged during the award ceremony.
