Course - Overview

The story behind garment manufacturing, its processes, and its final foray into the industry in varied forms, is integral to this course. The graduates from this program will be able to work in the hard-core fashion industry like export houses, buying houses, e-commerce industry, multi-national brands, fashion labels, or set up their own production units.


Besides learning the skills of pattern making, construction, anthropometry, and sizing, students will also learn to solve fitting issues, apparel grading, and sampling in various product categories. The students will learn to map global fashion trends and learn about different essential streams including apparel manufacturing technology, information technology, quality management, and operational technology. Robotics and managerial technology would be used throughout the program and students will also get exposure to MIS, e-commerce marketing, merchandising, and other integrated software used in supply chain management.
