Course - Overview

This three-year Media & Entertainment course prepares students for careers in the OTT, film, TV, digital media, podcasts, music & entertainment industries. It will train students to become confident storytellers with skills in the creative and production process from concept through execution across a range of media platforms from television, to online, mobile to big screens, and experience zones. Exclusive arrangements with international film festivals gives opportunities to all its students to intern at film festivals happening in New York, Dallas, London and more. Only course in the country to provide international opportunities for exchange, internships and final year in an international university.

This course provides students with a deep knowledge of current practices in the media and entertainment sector to ensure quality content and smooth productions, meeting deadlines, and staying within budgets. Thus, training students for big corporate careers with Netflix, Sony, Alt Balaji, Red Chillies and more. Course enables students to understand the latest technology used in the Media & Entertainment industry. Since, the industry is becoming increasingly ‘corporatized’, the course would also teach leaners about corporate culture, challenges and demands.

This course dynamically responds to demands from the industry and helps students hone their skillsets in digital media for media and entertainment. Students are taught by a team of filmmakers, photographers, film critics, bloggers, youtubers, editors, scriptwriters, documentary filmmakers, talent managers, celebrity PRs and practitioners. Students will get to work closely with entertainment editors, digital media professionals while undertaking live projects and industry internships. Students have worked on live projects with Miss Malini, SnapChat, NDTV, Filmfare, international film festivals and more
