Richard Bara

Assistant Professor

Richard Bara holds a Bachelor's degree from School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, post which he secured Masters in Interior Architecture and Design from Faculty of Design, CEPT University, Ahmedabad. His area of specialisation in History, Theory and Criticism and has researched extensively on symbolism in Churches of India.

He started his career as an intern in Design Innovation and Craft Resource Centre (DICRC), Ahmedabad and was involved a few of the Space Making Craft (SMC) initiatives. Thereafter, he had a five-year stint working with architectural firms designing spaces for residential, institutional and entertainment sectors. An architect by profession, a trained dancer, an avid traveller and a DIY enthusiast, Richard believes in experimenting and reinventing.
