Ramnik Kaur Dhillon

Ramnik Kaur Dhillon is a Consultant in the School of Fashion, Styling and Textiles at Pearl Academy, Delhi, since 1993. Her educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Textiles and Clothing; B.Ed.; B.Sc. Hons. Gold medalist from Delhi University; Instructor Training Program for Computer Aided Design to teach Tukatech Software for Pattern making; Advanced course in Evening wear from LCFS, London, under the expert guidance of Martin Shoben. Before joining Pearl, she was teaching at Delhi University for five years. Her professional career spans over a period of nearly three decades, where she have been teaching and mentoring students at the undergrad and postgrad levels.

Her areas of specialism include Pattern making, Garment construction and Grading for Women’s wear, Men’s wear and Children’s wear. She has authored a book on Pattern-making for a distance education programme. She is trained in Online, Hybrid and Blended Education for Online course delivery and content design. She has been doing freelance pattern-making projects for designers, and conducting workshops on Product Knowledge Development for professionals in the fashion industry, both domestic and international.
