Student UG Jewellery Design won the All India Caratlane Design Incubator Contest. As a winner, Uttara will be working with Caratlane as a designer for her graduation project.

1st runners-up at ELLE DECOR Awards
Inspired by the famous Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre by ZAHA HADID, the light ‘lithe’ – a project by UG Interior design students Anushka Sarawgi and Jugal Desai centre is a wall light with silhouettes that change depending upon the view of the angle. This innovative concept has won them the 1st runner-up award at the prestigious International ELLE DECOR Awards 2018 in the lighting category for students.

Majji Metro Competition
UG Communication Design level 2 student Pashang Dadyburjor from Pearl Academy Mumbai lately won Majji Metro Competition. His illustration was chosen among many other entries and decorated in the first art metro train. He was also invited to board this one if its kind and India’s first Art train in Mumbai. His illustration is based on ‘A glass of cutting chai showcasing all of mumbai’s flavors’.

Alumna Akankgsha displayed her final year project #ReDEAFine at the Dubai Design Week 2018. #ReDEAFine a designer-driven awareness campaign to make an active effort to address and gain a deeper understanding of the Deaf culture and their community by educating the hearing masses.

Shubhangi Palawat UGJD L3 student from Jaipur is one of the 4 winners at Caratlane Design Incubator Programme. This programme will nurture jewellery designers with a 6-month mentorship, hands-on training from industry experts and a deep understanding of the key role of design in business.

Ishita Singal and Saanchi Madan of Interior Design Course , Delhi, worked as a team in Society Interiors Design Awards 2017 under product design category and has secured 1st position in zonals held in Delhi and would be going to Mumbai for Finals next month
