Redress Design Award 2018
Alumna Seerat Virdi was the only Indian designer to represent the country at the Redress Design Award 2018 in Hong Kong. Seerat aims to inspire and influence customers to reuse and re-purpose clothes with the help of her sustainable designs.

Gold in Visual Merchandising and Silver in Fashion Technology 2018
Thira Goswami and Tanisha Singh won gold in Visual Merchandising category and silver in Fashion Technology category, respectively and Kumidini Kumar for winning the Medal of Excellence for Fashion Technology, at the IndiaSkills National Competition 2018.

Ashita Singhal wins 25000 $ at James McGuire Business Plan Competition 2018. Wanting to make a difference, she began envisioning a company that could turn textile waste into usable products; specifically, into fabric and garments, reducing waste and positively impacting her community.

Drawing inspiration from a conversation with his mother, alumni Surya Pratap Singh designed a collection highlighting that every body form, irrespective of shape and size, is beautiful. He was the first Pearlite to showcase his collection at the Graduate Fashion Week in London.
