Masterclass with Robyn Healy
Professor Robyn Healy -Head, RMIT Fashion & Textiles Merchandising, Melbourne and a faculty of Design Studio and Fashion Research, conducted a masterclass at Pearl Academy, Rajouri Garden Campus. During the class, Prof. Healy unveiled the various career options for fashion design students apart from being Designers, such as Sustainable managers, Communicators etc. The fashion industry of Australia and its position in the global market scenario was discussed briefly followed by an insight into the masters program in Fashion Enterprise at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Prof. Healy emphasized on how fashion is not just about glamour but also about problem solving and understanding production.The class came to an end with an interactive Q & A session which covered various topics of fashion courses, career opportunities and higher education.
