Biren is a prominent industry voice in government policy formulation & advancing visual arts education in India. His vision is to make creative communications & arts an agent of change in community development and social economic upliftment. He is passionate about bringing more women into India's burgeoning talent pool abilities in this sector.
Biren has been responsible for building up the India studio to 20X its size since he came on board. The services portfolio is being enhanced by new technologies with AR/VR, virtual production, AI, XR and now AI becoming ubiquitous. The team at its peak has over 7000 artists. The Animation & Games studio has won 7 Emmy Awards. Production credits include Disney’s Mickey Mouse Roadsters; DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda & Penguins of Madagascar; Boss Baby; Alvin & the Chipmunks, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles etc. In Film & TV VFX, MPC Film has worked on several Oscar winning projects including Disney’s The Jungle Book, Dumbo & The Lion King (which crossed $1.35 billion box office!); Life of Pi, The Shape of Water Blade Runner 2049, 1917 and Del Toro's Pinocchio. The Mill is a world leader in advertising & brand experiences disrupting the communications landscape with their short film savvy across a wide array of genres. The Bangalore team itself participates in producing over 800+ commercials (annually) for the world’s biggest brands across 3 continents. Biren is known as marketing and business strategist with a wide industry experience. He is working to provide a greener impetus to the Indian ecosystem including through Technicolor's CSR initiatives.
