An Accessory Design graduate from NIFT Gandhinagar 2003, with a specialization in lifestyle accessories and precious metals, Abhijeet started as a Jewellery Designer with leading jewellery export houses in Mumbai. He shifted to research on 450 different handicraft techniques of India with the National Institute of Design (NID) in 2004. He has worked with prestigious organizations and institutions like NID, DC(H), The Asian Heritage Foundation, Rajeev Sethi Scenographers, KAARU, Khalsa Musuem project, The Entertainment Design Co., giving him a strong overview of visual arts and crafts. Working as a Senior Graphic Designer for the last eight years in the interiors, print and publishing industry has given him in-depth understanding of emerging technologies as well as traditional craftsmanship in visual art and craft. As the Course Coordinator in Foundation Design Dept., Pearl Academy, Naraina Campus, he shares his valuable industrial experience in design, art and craft with students.
