A faculty member with the Fashion Design Department at Pearl Academy, Jaipur, Nandan studied Fashion Design at National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi (2002), where he won multiple awards for his graduate collection, including the coveted Swarovski Student of the Year. Nandan moved on to dividing his time between his flourishing art practice in Jaipur and Design Academics after a brief three-year stint with the fashion industry. He has taught at various design schools for over a decade and been associated with Pearl Jaipur since 2007. As an an internationally renowned artist, he has showcased his work for the last four years at reputed international art fairs such as Art Basel HK (2011, 2013), Art Stage Singapore (2012), Art Paris (2012, 2013, 2014), Sydney Contemporary (2013), India Art Fair (2011, 2012, 2013, 2015), Shanghai Contemporary (2012), Dhaka Art Summit (2014), Art Chennai (2014). His work has also featured in various exhibits and shows around the world in recent times, including the San Jose Museum and Wichita State Museum, USA and associated with art galleries in India, France, Hong Kong and Germany. His work has also been showcased in various Indian and international art and design journals such as Art Asia Pacific and Australian Art Collector. His work can be regularly viewed on a large number of international art websites, forums and blogs. Along with an illustrious and flourishing career in art, he has also undertaken a range of Fashion, Graphic Design and Crafts-based projects over the last 14 years of his career.
