A Visual Communication Designer, Sakshi graduated from National Institute of Design with specialization in Animation Film Design. Sakshi worked as an Art Director at Katha, an organization working in the areas of literacy and literature, where she led the design and publishing team. She delivered projects for partners such as UNICEF, HP, CBSE, Indian Cultural Centre and Ministry of Human Resource Development. She has designed more than a hundred picture books, many of which have won international awards and recognitions. She is also an author and an illustrator herself. She has worked with Indian and International contemporary and regional artists, organized and conducted workshops for children and adults, and worked with underserved communities. She has also made an animation film for rural Indian audience to elevate the standards of living at the grassroots level. Colors reflect her joys and sorrows. Different mediums of communication fascinate and delight her. She aspires to be a better storyteller each day, be it through images, words, technology or through infinite other possibilities.
