Admissions – 2014

So when we are assessing you, we will be particularly evaluating your career focus, creative and aesthetic sense, level of commitment and energy, potential as a team member, ability to handle stress and of course your communication skills.

The Academy in the last 20 years has initiated many student interaction programs. Spread over our global network, these exchange programs are facilitated with the intent of making our students sought after professionals, not just in India but across the world.

ADMISSION CYCLES

The admission procedure at Pearl Academy is being organized in two cycles for Admission 2014.

Ø Admission Cycle 1 – April

Ø Admission Cycle 2 – June

MA Fashion & Textiles

Statement of Purpose: At the time of application, the candidate will be required to submit a scholarly essay identifying problem(s) of interest, which will be subject to close examination and further discussion during the interview.

Portfolio Examination: At the interview, the candidate will be required to exhibit previous work (from during undergraduate curriculum or during work or both); the portfolio will be examined and the candidate tested for attributes considered essential for pursuing the programme.

Interview: This is an occasion for an extended dialogue to cover the above and search the candidate’s aptitude in a comprehensive and holistic manner.

MA Fashion Marketing

Statement of Purpose: At the time of application, the candidate will be required to submit a scholarly essay identifying problem(s) of interest, which will be subject to close examination and further discussion during the interview.

General Proficiency Test (MA-GPT): This test, comprised of 120 questions to be objectively answered in 100 minutes, will examine the candidate’s proficiency in English language ability, comprehension, mathematical and quantitative ability (12th standard equivalent), logic and reasoning, and data interpretation.

Interview: This is an occasion for an extended dialogue to cover the statement of purpose and search the candidate’s aptitude in a comprehensive and holistic manner.

How to Apply?

Prospectus and Application Kits would be available from 06 January 2014 from the academy’s counter at Delhi, Noida, Jaipur and Chennai as well as at select branches of Axis Bank, against payment in cash or by crossed demand draft. It is also made available on our website www.pearlacademy.com. Outstation candidates can obtain the Prospectus and Application Form by post.

INDUSTRY SPONSORED CANDIDATES AND FOREIGN NATIONALS

A few seats are reserved, at a higher fee, for industry-sponsored candidates and foreign nationals. Such candidates will have to compete against the reserved seats for admission. Selection is based on personal interview.
