The main purpose of the research is to understand in depth the emergence of “blogging”, its role, its outreach and response of the people towards it. According to the statistics collected in 2012, by a global research and advisory firm Forrester Research, 75% of Internet users worldwide started using “social media” in the second quarter of the year 2008. Blogging is considered as a new form of online journalism, enjoying great attention of users, based on a personal and interactive approach.
