Iznik art comes from a town called Iznik in Turkey. Iznik art or blue pottery is hand painted and can be seen on the tiles and pottery. The motifs are generally elongated and shades of blue, green, yellow, brick red and purple are dominating. With time this art form lost its essence. Being a design student she tried to contemporize this art form by converting the hand painted motifs into digital prints and instead of hand painting she got them printed. There is also a change of medium, i.e. from ceramic to MDF and wood. Laser cutting has been done on various products. The collection includes a range of lifestyle products like dish mats, coasters, dividers, lamp, photo frame, serving trays, tissue boxes and diaries.
