I chose Communication Design, because it sounded new and exciting to me. And it indeed is a course that has a lot to offer every day. Over the past four years, design has changed my approach to any problem. I have realized that anything that is practical, simple, and user-friendly makes for good design. As a Communication Designer, I like to put across a message by experimenting with space, materials, technology and various other mediums, combined together to provide a holistic feel. Pearl Academy has given me some unforgettable moments and an amazing bunch of people that I will cherish for the rest of my life. “I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it,” said Pablo Picasso. Taking this quote as my inspiration, I have always tried to take up new and challenging projects. Last semester, I worked on signages for Mandi House, New Delhi area and learnt what it takes to design just one signboard. My degree project aims at creating an experiential space that make people aware about the Bermuda Triangle and theories revolving around it.
