A. The M.Des. in Communication Design is a two-year course.
The first year focuses on understanding design fundamentals and using tools for design projects. Subjects include Fundamentals & History of Design, Basic Digital Tools, Design Basics, Visual Design, Research Practices, Typography and Production, Advanced Digital Tools, Branding and Advertising, and Data Visualization.
The second year offers a broader perspective on Communication Design's significance in society, industries, and culture. Subjects include Cultural Studies, User Interface Design, Design for Social Innovation, International/Industry Projects, and Physical Interfaces.
A. Pearl Academy is offering scholarships for its Communication Design courses in the academic year 2024. This scholarship is available for both Bachelor's and Master's programs at the institution. All applicants are automatically considered for the scholarship, which is based on merit and performance in the Pearl Entrance Exam. In the 2021-22 academic year, 51 students received scholarships for the M. Des. in Communication Design program, ranging from 20% to 100% tuition fee waivers.
