Manikanta ChoudhuryAssociate Professor, School of Creative Practice
Manikanta did his BFA from Guwahati University, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Printmaking from M.S. University, Baroda. His works have been exhibited in several shows at the national and international levels.
Some of these include the INDO- BRITISH BANQUET-From the Raj at Hotel Crown Plaza St. James, London (2008); 13th Biennale International at De La Gravure Des Nouvelles Images De Sarcelles, Paris, France (2007); “Graphics” ’94 Society of Contemporary Print Makers, Assam; 4th Bharat Bhawan Biennale of Prints; All India Miniature Format Exhibition, Gallery Sumukha; Multiple encounters, Indo-US Print Show. He has been awarded by many national and international art organizations and is also the recipient of Junior Fellowship, Govt of India. Manikanta participated in workshops of Monoprints at Atelier2221; Society of Fine Arts, Guwahati and Bharat Bhawan, Bhopal. His works are held in the collection of various private and public collections in India and elsewhere.
