Dr. Rikimi Madhukaillya holds over 15 years of experience as an academic, teaching and researching on History of Arts, Performing Art and Cultural Studies in a number of institutions across the country. Prior to joining us at the Kolkata campus she was a Course Leader at the Delhi-West Campus and also at the Mumbai campus. Dr. Rikimi has been curating numerous notable contemporary art exhibitions such as the Indo-Swiss Video Lounge at India Art Fair 2013, Kochi Muziris Biennale 2013 and the ‘In the Seeds of Time’ for National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, 2008 to name a few. She has also worked closely with artist-author Vivan Sundaram on research and documentation work on his book on Amrita Sher-Gils letters. Has assisted renowned Art Historian Geeta Kapoor in various research work and presentations. Also worked closely with others like - Paulina-Andres, artists from France, Sonia Khurana in her Performance art piece – ‘dont touch me when i start feeling safe’, French artist Jean Christophe Lenquentin in his performance art project, artist Navjot Altaf in her project ‘Delhi Loves me?’ Etc. She has also worked extensively at the Bodhi Art Archive and Bodhi Art Knowledge Centre for Bodhi Art Gallery, New Delhi.
