School of Creative Business introduces its first ‘Virtual Business Plan competition – Prarambh. The theme of the competition is ‘Sustainable Development Goals’. Also known as Global goals, these were identified by the United Nations as the universal call to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that people around the world enjoy peace and prosperity by the year 2030.
About the Competition
The competition will take place in 3 rounds where teams will be shortlisted on the quality of their proposals in every phase.
- In the first round the business ideas will be presented based on the market needs.
- The second round will involve a more detailed viability analysis.
- Participants selected for the third and final round will qualify for a Bootcamp on Entrepreneurship. Then, they will share a business canvas and will present their idea virtually, live in front of a jury in a Q&A session.
The briefing of every round will be done ahead of each round in an orientation session.
The competition will be judged at different stages by experts in entrepreneurship from academia and industry. The panel for judging the grand jury consists of Mr. Yogeshwar Sharma (Executive Director and CEO, Select City Walk) and Dr Ashley Thomas Jacob (Vice-Chairman & CEO, Mulamoottil Group)

An exemplary shopping centre professional, Mr. Yogeshwar Sharma is Executive Director and CEO at Select Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Sharma has successfully led the country’s most admired shopping centre, Select CITYWALK and has been with the organization since its inception. He has been responsible for various functions for Select CITYWALK as well as the complete operations and management of the shopping centre. He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), and is also a visiting faculty at several institutes. He is recipient of several awards and industry recognitions such as Retail Icon Award from Asia Retail Congress and has been recognized as 50 most talented retail professionals of India by CMO Asia.
