Mohit Nakra, an adept assistant professor at Pearl Academy, boasts an impressive 12-year career. After graduating from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Hyderabad, he furthered his education with a master's in Fashion Retail Management from Amity University, Lucknow. Notably, his innate talent earned him accolades for Best Design Collection and Most Creative at NIFT's UG Design Collection Show.
Mohit honed his skills as an assistant designer at esteemed fashion houses like Gaurav Gupta, Satya Paul, and Tarun Tahiliani, augmenting his expertise through project-based internships at Fabindia. Beyond academics, his interests span photography, fashion styling, art, painting, and globetrotting for culinary exploration.
As a respected figure in academia, Mohit has contributed as a guest faculty and Jury member across NIFT campuses, specialising in diverse design processes, design thinking, portfolio development, fashion illustration, draping, and creative pattern making.
