This one-year Postgraduate course is co-developed and co-certified by Pearl Academy and India’s largest and premier industry body - Events & Experiential Marketing Association of India.

The program focuses on direct communication channel through events and creating experiences, through roadshows, branded events, IPR events, corporate events, social-political events, religious events, international events, televised events, et al. It trains talent necessary for business development in events space, client servicing, sponsorship sales, event design, budgeting and operations management, event laws and permissions, integrating with mass media and social media, and event documentation and archiving.

Participation in Dubai Films Fest, Dubai Shopping Fest, Fashion Festivals in several cities abroad, Amsterdam Art Fest, is facilitated and encouraged for student visits along with their course tutors.

The growing event industry is estimated to be valued around Rs 30,000 crore includes branded large events, weddings, festivals, family events or any event which engages vendors and professionals in their execution. Existing courses in the country offer basic training on some technical skills and vendor management. Pearl Academy’s PG Professional Certificate course in Events and Experiential Marketing trains students in leadership, business development, creative integration with brand aspirations.

Semester 1

Understanding Events and Experiential Marketing; Integrated Marketing, Brand Communication and the Role of Events.

Conceptualising and Marketing Events through the 5 Cs; Ethics, Values, Laws and Permissions.

Event Content and Design, and the use of Software; Event Technicals, Terminology and Technology.

The Business of Events – Budgeting and Revenue.

Semester 2

Event Management on D-Day.

Event Trends of the Future – Sustainability, Technology and Connected Events.

Event Coverage, Documentation, Audit and Evaluation; 10 Case Studies to Know the Industry By.

Major Media Project: Create an event execution and marketing plan on chosen specialisation.

Event Venue design software (3D Max, Photoshop, Coreldraw)

The learners participate in several ad-mad contest, marketing case-study contest, business case-study contest, marketing creative contests organized by IIMs, MICA, some corporate houses, and NGOs during the two years course.

The course is a blend of knowledge, creative skills and practical training with EEMA supplemented with internship and actual event organizing projects with corporates, entertainment and media companies.

Since it is an EEMA partnered course, EEMA members, which include all leading event agencies of the country, will potentially place / offer jobs to the batch of 30-50 students each year.

Stalwart speakers from EEMA representing various organizations and different functional areas and specialization of the events and experiential marketing domain will conduct 200 sessions of 2 hours each.

Placements / Internships

Advertising agency like JWT, TCC, O&M, CreativeMarketingFix, digital communication agency, brand consulting agency, and the marketing communications or brand management department of any corporate house or non-profit organization.

International Opportunities

The curriculum has been developed in association with Domus Academy. All PG Pathways at Pearl have an in-built 4-week exchange module (optional) at Domus Academy. This alliance gives following opportunities to students:-

Through such exchanges programmes, Pearl ensures that the students learn not only the technical aspects of the domain but also a new culture. In 2016, over 80 students were a part of the exchange program to Domus Academy, Milan, Italy. These students were from all 3 centers and across various PG courses like Fashion Business, Fashion Design, Interior Design & Styling, Luxury Brands, Fashion Communication, Communication Design and Fashion Styling & Image Design.
