The idea was to bring in life to the space using industrial look as the theme chosen would complement the look and feel of the space. This was done by using Industrial theme and using chalkoboard concept . The installation on the wall, the furniture were designed and executed in order to complement the theme . The brief given by the principle of the College was to redesign the space keeping in mind that the spavce will be used by students, staff &parents . She wanted the space to be designed in such a way that will make the space lively as well as functional . The Furniture was designed for a space which was at the entrance and was the main spot for students, teachers, and parents but had no energetic ambiance around. keeping look and feel in mind . The furniture piece was in continuation of the "THE FLIP-IN-CART" (furniture piece designed by Daman Deep kaur in 3rd semester) as it favored the theme chosen. The space was converted into a reception area, thus a bench and a reception table was designed for the same. The materials used were M.S Tubes which were powder coated and Pine wood. The challenge was to design a table which was at 135 degree angle using tapered pine wood members. The Installation with weaving method was executed using wrought iron Hexagonal Frames. The weaving was done by the students themselves. Before finalizing the final design of the weaving ideas were explored in AUTOCAD. In order to add a greener patch in the space a vertical garden using recycled plastic bottles was made. A graffiti wall was conceptualized and executed by the students from PGCD Department. In the meetings with the Principal She mentioned the initiatives taken by Daulat ram college towards women empowerment. So during one of these meetings we decided that the the main wall of the administrative wall will have a graffiti with this concept. After few design iterations, the layout was finalized and executed at the site
