Baidujya Saikia brings nearly a decade of rich experience as a Faculty of Filmmaking at Pearl Academy. With a youthful adaptability, Baidujya pivoted from engineering to computer graphics, channelling his love of gaming into game creation. But a chance photography excursion revealed Baidujya's true calling - cinematography.
Mastering RED, Canon, Sony, and Panasonic cameras, Baidujya honed his cinematography skills through diverse projects. These include films like ‘Gandhi No Golmaal’ and ‘Kalakaar,’ Asian Paints advertisements, and the web series ‘The Adventures of Abbaas Mastan’ for ‘Arre.’
Baidujya guides students with a passion for visual storytelling and a hands-on command of the tools of the trade. By sharing his experiences, Baidujya empowers the next generation of cinematographers to bring their bold visions to life.
