Chewang Bhutia, an accomplished Animation Film Designer, brings 16 years of experience to his role as an Associate Professor at Pearl Academy. With a background in motion design and animation direction, he made his mark in Bombay's bustling television and advertising industry before redirecting his focus towards storytelling. In 2019, he achieved a significant milestone by publishing his book.
Chewang's creative journey started earlier with the publication of "Norbu's New Shoes" in 2005, igniting his passion for personal projects. He has also lent his skills as an art director to gaming companies and enriched the education system by teaching art, craft, and cooking in government schools.
Drawing, sculpting, illustration, and cooking are integral to Chewang's courses, emphasising hands-on, engaging activities. His approach transforms these activities into captivating stories and concepts, often materialising in various formats such as motion graphics, illustrations, posters, board games, and culinary creations.
