Paridhi Dhanuka leverages years of textile design industry experience in her role as an Assistant Professor of Fashion Design at Pearl Academy. After earning her degree in Textile Design from Pearl Academy, she went on to work as a Design Assistant at Vardhman Textiles.
Driven by her passion for handloom textiles, Paridhi then joined Ekaya as an in-house designer in 2017. There, she created successful prints and wovens for leading brands while freelancing. Her research on jute earned the Bursary Award at the 2018 Textile Institute World Conference.
As an educator, Paridhi imparts her deep knowledge of design processes, textiles, and computer-aided design. She continuously pursues her interests through research and sharing her creativity with students. Paridhi believes design education fosters growth.
By equipping students with technical skills and inspiring them to innovate sustainably, Paridhi empowers the next generation of textile talents to make their creative mark.
