Drawing inspiration from a conversation with his mother, alumni Surya Pratap Singh designed a collection highlighting that every body form, irrespective of shape and size, is beautiful. He was the first Pearlite to showcase his collection at the Graduate Fashion Week in London.

Alumna Akankgsha displayed her final year project #ReDEAFine at the Dubai Design Week 2018. #ReDEAFine a designer-driven awareness campaign to make an active effort to address and gain a deeper understanding of the Deaf culture and their community by educating the hearing masses.

Ashita Singhal wins 25000 $ at James McGuire Business Plan Competition 2018. Wanting to make a difference, she began envisioning a company that could turn textile waste into usable products; specifically, into fabric and garments, reducing waste and positively impacting her community.
