Welcome to Doodle for Hygiene Contest

Food is in important element in human life. Food should be cooked, served and eaten in a hygienic manner for a healthy life. Contestant needs to doodle for an Apron for canteen staff. The Apron will be gifted to Canteen Staff and servers of your school. The objective of the doodle on the apron should be to remind students as well as canteen staff about hygiene.

About the competition

  1. Draw a Doodle for Canteen Staff Apron on A3 size sheet.
  2. Register and Upload Image in 2 steps:
    1. Pearl Academy Webpage
    2. Your personal Facebook page with #PearlAcademyJaipur #DoodleForHygiene #(YourSchool/College Name) and get maximum likes.
  3. The image should not be more than 2 MB
  4. Winner will be announced on 25th September, 2017
  5. The winner will receive a certificate and trophy from Pearl Academy on the date agreed by School and Pearl Academy

Judging and Selection of Winners: Each Doodle will be evaluated and scored based on the following “Criteria”:

  1. Artistic merit - drawing skills and use of color (80% Weightage) + Facebook Likes (20% Weightage).
  2. Creativity and originality - considering the representation of the Contest theme “Doodle for hygiene” and as well as the unique and novel approach to the Doodle;
  3. Communication of the Contest theme in both the drawing - how well the Entrant explains the theme “Doodle for hygiene” represents in the supporting statement and drawing

Prize

  1. The Artist’s will receive a certificate and Trophy from Pearl Academy.

  1. One student can upload only one entry.
  2. The contest is only for students from Rajasthan State Region.
  3. Age of the contestant should be within the range 16 yrs – 21 yrs
  4. The contest should complete both steps of submitting online entry and facebook entry.
  5. Winners will be announced through emails and phone call.
  6. They must be original, unpublished works that does not contain, incorporate or otherwise use any content, material or element that is owned by a third party or entity.
  7. Doodle must not contain content, material or any element that is unlawful, or otherwise in violation of or contrary to all applicable national, state, or local laws and regulations. Please note that under relevant laws of India, use of the National Flag, and other national symbols such as the Ashoka Chakra and the pictorial representation of national personalities such as Mahatma Gandhi, Prime Minister of India etc for certain purposes including as part of a corporate logo, are not permitted
  8. They must not contain any content, material or element that displays any third party advertising, slogan, logo, and trademark or otherwise indicates a sponsorship or endorsement by a third party, commercial entity or that is not within the spirit of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.
  9. The Doodle is not the subject of any actual or threatened litigation or claim.
  10. The Entrant does not include any disparaging remarks relating to the Sponsor or a third party.
  11. The Doodle is two-dimensional
  12. Intellectual Property: In submitting a doodle each entering pupil (and their parent/guardian, if necessary) and teacher warrants that he/she is the owner of the doodle and the intellectual property in it and that all components of your artwork and supporting statement are indeed original creations. Any intellectual property infringement, misuse or plagiarism of another person’s work in any form or state in Pearl Academy’s opinion will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of eligibility to receive all awards, recognition and prizes. Each pupil (and their parent/guardian, if necessary) and teacher also consents to his/her doodle being used in the manner set out in these terms, or (where the entrant is not the owner) that he/she has obtained the consent of the owner(s) to use it in the manner set out in these terms without any further compensation.
  13. No Recourse to Judicial or Other Procedures: To the extent permitted by law, the rights to litigate, to seek injunctive relief or to any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with this Competition are hereby excluded, and you acknowledge and agree, and expressly waive any and all such rights.
  14. Internet: Pearl Academy is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission. Pearl Academy is not responsible for theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of Competition materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind. Pearl Academy is not responsible for inaccurate transmissions of or failure to display Competition materials on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the Competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Competition, Pearl Academy reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.
