Puja Arya

The design dream of Puja Arya began with the study at NIFT for two years, well complemented with a scholarship by the Nottingham Trent University and the Charles Wallace Trust Fund. Puja Arya’s collection at NTU was selected for a grand showing at the ‘Graduate Fashion Week’ in London along with the best design collections from all over the United Kingdom.

Puja Arya showcased to the world through the highly esteemed Japanese Fashion channel – TOKYO FASHION EXPRESS, the only Indian designer whose entire way of working and her workshop in Jaipur, Rajasthan have been profiled.

Puja Arya’s inspiration lies in the revival of the dying traditional art of block printing which she brings to life by energetically combining it with international silhouettes with a hint of traditional techniques of printing, dyeing, embroidery etc. Along with creating the most exquisite collection Puja draws her inspiration from the meditation of Buddhist chanting which helps her to centre her energies which clearly flow and breathe through every Puja Arya creation.

Her collections retails at Ogaan (Hauz Khas, Emporio), Aza (Delhi and Mumbai), Collage (Chennai and Bangalore)
