Aashima Joshi Kukreti is an Associate Professor of Fashion Design at Pearl Academy with 18+ years of experience in the industry.
She started her academic journey as a student of Fashion Design from NIFT-Hyderabad and a Master in Fashion Textiles from Nottingham Trent University. She believes in constant growth and endeavours to enrich her knowledge with every opportunity she gets.
This has driven her to pursue various courses such as the Online Hybrid Blended Education (OHBE-NTU), Virtual Teacher training by (UCI), and earn her Laureate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (TLHE-NTU), among other certifications.
Being a learner and a teacher simultaneously has allowed Aashima to understand and support her students better. At Pearl Academy, she’s continuously sought out innovative teaching methodologies to help engage her students better and inculcate a love for learning. She hopes to groom responsible fashion designers and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
Aashima has also worked with well-known retail names such as Lee Cooper, Peter England and Blackberries.
