I opted for Fashion Media Communication because it gave me the opportunity to explore various fields within one course. Marketing, journalism, photography, graphic design, advertising and much more! And getting to interact with people from the industry itself broadened the possibilities. This course has let me experience my own creativity in a new way.

The projects, curriculum and exposure received from Pearl Academy was international in nature. Pearl prepared me towards the next step of my education. I was selected at the Pratt Institute to pursue my Masters in Communication Design. Limitless is the scope that’s available to me today. Blending creativity and sound management, I’ve been able to take a simple family-run ethnic wear wholesale business to the next level. Bringing in ethnic branding, international projects, creative collaborations with couturiers and new dimension of luxury has helped create an ambitious yet sensible modern enterprise that knows no boundaries.

For me “Pearl” was the best decision I ever made. Being a student of Fashion Media Communication, we’re introduced to every latest happening in the fashion industry. This course is a mix of all what interests me fashion, styling, photography, journalism, marketing and so much more. Not only the learning inside the four walls of our classroom but the hands on experience and industry exposure is what made me so much more confident than I was yesterday. I was challenged to discover a voice I didn’t know I had. The mentors are from the industry which helps us more to understand the actual reality of this industry that we dream of. The best part is the bond that we students share with our faculty which makes it more fun learning experience for us. Having been shaped in part by the collegial and creative, yet rigorous environment at PEARL, I found myself able to communicate, innovate, and collaborate in ways that enable me to “Be Somebody” in future.

Pearl upholds an international reputation and has excellent rating for training fashion students and familiarizing them with industry workings. A post graduate diploma in Fashion Communication from Pearl Academy in acquaintance with Domus Academy, Milan gave me great insight in understanding of the nuances within the fashion industry and triggered me to learn and excel.

Presently, I work with a global fashion magazine ‘Harper’s Bazaar Bride India’ as their junior fashion stylist. As a stylist, I had the opportunity to develop and maintain relationships with brands around the world, interact with industry experts as well as anchor large projects for my firm. I have worked on fashion shoots with prominent Bollywood celebrities, from researching and acquiring wardrobe for the editorial to hiring the necessary talent and scheduling the shoot. My work also entails building a positive relationship with international brands for them to participate in future projects and collaborations with the publication.

With the help and guidance of the eminent faculty at Pearl Academy, you will not only be encouraged to burgeon your talent but you will also learn to initiate bigger projects for future. It promises an experience richly rewarding.
